It is more important than ever to have a diet and fitness program that not only revitalizes your body, but your mind and spirit too.
The Cancer Wellness Program offers individualized assistance in creating a complete fitness program for both active people and those who have never exercised.
The program consists of hour-long sessions, twice a week for ten weeks. Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30pm at Momentum Fitness, 377 Wall Street, Princeton, NJ, 08540.
Enrollment in the class is ongoing, so you main join at any time. At your first session you will meet with one of the wellness staff to explain the program in more detail and have a tour of the facility. Each class member will receive a notebook with the class schedule and handouts that will be used throughout the ten weeks.
Although aerobic and strength conditioning are an important part of the program, other topics and modalities will be presented including nutrition, meditation, yoga, massage, aquatics, pilates and martial arts.
Participants are encouraged to attend classes even if active participation is limited as a greater goal of the program is to introduce wellness resources that may not have been previously considered.
